Live the Life in Whistler - Accommodation Options Available! (with pics)
Job Details: Our client in Whistler, British Columbia is looking for full-time and/or part-time Family Physicians to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic. There is such a shortage of family physicians in Whistler and the clinic is working hard to change that. You would have a full panel in no time. Walk-ins are abundant for ski and mountain bike park injuries and you have the opportunity to top up the billing with out of country private pay patients. The clinic also have connections with concierges at some of the hotels who need physician services for their guests. You would be as busy as you would like and there would be an opportunity to work evenings, weekends, walk-in clinics, sports medicine clinics, to name a few. Hours and shifts are flexible. Want to ski and work in the evening? You can with them!
The clinic works closely with their allied health team to make your job easier and more collaborative. You will be supported by a registered dietician, physiotherapist, clinical counsellor, chiropractor, acupuncturist, registered massage therapist and more.
The clinic uses Juno EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, and split arrangement is to be discussed with interested physicians. The range of potential annual earnings is $250,000-$350,000.
This team is highly flexible for the right person. Do you want to spend the winter skiing and working in paradise? Summers are incredibly beautiful as well.
Accommodation Incentive: The clinic has secured a few accommodation options which are difficult to attain in Whistler: a 2 bedroom condo 5 minutes from the clinic available May 15, 2023 and a 2.5 bedroom brand new townhouse available September 1 in Pemberton. Details around cost to be discussed during the interview.
The Rural Retention Program (RRP) Incentive: The Rural Retention Program (RRP) provides financial payments to eligible physicians working in communities covered under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA).
