Job Details: Our client in Didsbury, Alberta is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice. This is a clinic network that has developed a true medical home model consisting of 2 components: in-clinic primary and specialty clinics, and a virtual collaborative health program.

The innovative model used by this network prioritizes the well-being of both patients and physicians. They believe that healthier practitioners create healthier patients, better outcomes and improve entire communities through the outward ripple effect of good care.

This network wants to utilize their physicians time and expertise as best they can by removing as much administration as possible and providing support through a team-based approach. Physicians maintain a work/life balance and can focus on what they were trained to do which is simply to care for their patients. The emphasis is on treating patients and not admin work!

This clinic provides a quick path to the physicians desired panel size due to limited primary care options in Didsbury and surrounding communities. Physician would benefit from a very full schedule, very fast. Hours of work are weekday shifts for in-clinic practice and virtual collaborative work can be done remotely whenever the physician chooses. In-clinic physicians are supported by teams that handle all billing, referrals and administration while being paired with their own LPN that drives the collaborative health program on their behalf, creating additional revenue with little to no additional workload.

The clinic uses Accuro EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is negotiable, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $400,000-$600,000.  

Incentives Available to the Physician: Relocation/signing bonuses provided. Up to $50k signing bonus for this location. 7.5% increase to all billing through the RRNP government incentive.

Clinic Details: With 7 clinics in Calgary, and 3 in rural communities, the clinic network currently has over 40 in-clinic family physicians, 13 in-clinic Nurse practitioners and over 50 specialists on their collaborative health (virtual) platform. There are 2.5 full-time family physicians currently working at the Didsbury practice. Most clinics operate Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm with extended, after hours and weekend options available at request. 

The charming town of Didsbury is in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, only 1 hour's drive from Calgary, 1 hour 30 minutes from Banff's breathtaking Lake Louise Resort, and 2hrs 30 minutes from Edmonton.

Requirements: 
•  College of Family Physicians Canada (CFPC) Certified 
•  College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) Full Licence
